Legal Guard is a legal service targeted to small and medium size enterprises. The legal service is provided exclusively by our barristers or independent barristers. Barristers are experts in their field. Generally, barristers only get involved in cases when it becomes too complex for a solicitor to handle. For example, drafting of complex documents and representing clients once a matter gets to Court.
We are proud to be able to provide small and medium sized businesses with a service that is generally regarded as only available to large corporations. The UK, as a society, is becoming more and more litigious. The value of having legal advice to hand – and indeed quality legal advice – cannot be overstated.
Below are the list of services we offer as part of our subscription services:
Contract Law Services
- Drafting all types of contracts, agreements and leases
- Checking all types of contracts, agreements and leases
- Employment Services
- Drafting and checking of employment contracts
- Drafting and checking of compromise agreements
- Written advice and all areas of employment law
Invoice Litigation Service
We pursue debtors on your behalf for outstanding invoices in accordance with the agreement you have with that particular debtor. We will allow seven days after you have instructed us to pursue recovery of those invoices, after which we will take the matter before the Court. All of this is included in the various tiers of subscription we provide.
Cost of Subscription
Sometimes, all it takes is a letter from a lawyer to nip a potential problem in the bud; to get an invoice paid; or to get a protagonist to reconsider pursuing you or retract their position.
Our business law subscriptions services are as follows:
Tier One Services
- Rate: £200 per month.
- Six letters out.
- One hour conference with a barrister.
- Would suit businesses with one to two employees
Tier Two Services
- Rate: £300 per month
- Eight letters out.
- Two hours with a barrister. The two hours can be taken at once or in periods of one hour each.
- Would suit businesses with three to eight employees.
Tier Three Services
- Rate: £400 per month.
- Ten letters out.
- Three hours with a barrister. Time with a barrister must be taken in 60, 90 or 120 minute slots.
- Would suit businesses with 8 to 12 employees.
Tier Four Services
- Rate: £500 per month.
- 12 letters out.
- Five hours with a barrister. Time with a barrister must be taken in 60, 90 or 120 minute slots.
Platinum Tier
- Available on request
